While vaccinations are rolling out, now is the time to recommit to good habits of personal hygiene. Rev up the number of times you wash your hands every day. If you run an errand, go to the grocery store or get gas, wash up. Keep sanitizer handy. It’s even more important to wear your mask properly and wear it whenever you are around other people.
Testing helps all of us to be prepared with the facts. If you are a Yellowhawk patient, you are entitled to get tested every two weeks regardless of whether you have symptoms.
There will be a drive-thru testing event at the Pendleton Convention Center next week on February 8 & February 22 from 9:00AM-12PM. You can register in advance at www.doineedacovid19test.com. You should receive the results no more than 48 hours after the test. Testing is free and open to the public regardless of symptoms.
Yellowhawk recorded a surge in positive tests over the past couple of days. We need to stop this surge in its tracks. Do not let your guard down. Help us all stay healthy by masking up, distancing and washing hands. Get tested if you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone who tested positive, or even just for peace of mind.
Together, we can and will get through this pandemic.
