We have received a number of reports regarding vehicles getting stuck in snow drifts. Be advised that Umatilla County and Tribal Snow removal resources are limited. Please do your part by keeping yourself safe and avoiding unnecessary travel, especially avoid routes that are common to snow drifts.

Helpful items to have in your vehicle during the Winter months:

-Sturdy ice scraper and snow brush.

-Gloves and other winter clothing.

-Emergency flares or reflectors.

-Rock salt, sand, or kitty litter.

-First aid kit.

-Extra windshield washer fluid.

If you find yourself stuck in a snow drift or in a dangerous situation, please call UTPD ASAP at 541-278-0550 for help.
